The Park City Fire District is governed by five Administrative Control Board members appointed by the Summit County Council.
The Fire Chief, along with his 10 administrative staff members, supports an organization of 79 career emergency responders (3 Battalions Chiefs, 18 Captains, 57 Firefighter/EMTs). Additionally, three year-round part-time responders still work shifts, and 12-15 seasonal EMTs help to staff additional ambulances during the winter ski season.
Finally, the District also manages a neighboring ambulance transport service utilizing 18 local EMTs from the Coalville-Henefer-Wanship areas of North Summit. An organizational chart is provided on this page.
