Greetings from the Park City Fire Service District!
Thank you for visiting our web site. As you peruse our informational centers, I hope you gain an understanding of the Park City Fire District, its mission, visions for the future, and the professionalism of the organization.
Our scope of services covers the full spectrum of fire suppression and prevention services, including emergency response to various fire incidents and hazardous conditions, fire prevention and community education, as well as safety and awareness programs. The Emergency Medical Services Division is comprised of Paramedic rescue services, EMT-Intermediate ambulance transport services, community EMS and CPR education and training, and child safety and injury prevention programs. Other PCFSD services include hazardous materials and Bio-Chem related incident response, with the Park City Fire District leading a region wide Hazmat Response Team. The PCFSD also provides backcountry, technical, and ice emergency rescue services.
The Park City Fire District has gained the distinction of being one of the most progressive emergency service agencies in Utah, with unparalleled service delivery. Our customer base includes close to 30,000 residents that have selected this pristine mountain setting as their home, and also the more than 2 million annual visitors that choose Park City’s three world-class ski areas as their vacation destination. Along with providing emergency services to the Park City communities, the PCFSD was responsible for emergency services during the 2002 Winter Olympics. More than 2 million people attended the three competition venues and visited America’s premier ski town during the Winter Olympics. As you can probably imagine, the years have been very busy and exciting for the professional fire and emergency services personnel of the PCFSD; we anticipate the future being even more challenging with the continued growth in this area.
The Park City Fire District is constantly striving to maintain top-notch customer service and response times. The PCFSD currently staffs five full-time stations, with the newest station at Promontory being completed in 2006. The PCFSD is also currently planning to build a new Park City station, a station that will be located in Lower Deer Valley, as well as an administrative office facility; all are anticipated to be completed in the year 2007. The PCFSD will continue to service the Park City communities as efficiently and effectively as possible.
