Eric Hales has been in the fire service since 1991, beginning his carrier as a part-time Firefighter/EMT with the Park City Fire District.  In 1995, he became a full-time Firefighter/EMT with the Draper City Fire Department, which soon consolidated with the Salt Lake County Fire Department. In 1999, Eric returned to Park City Fire District full time and has served as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Captain, and currently serves as a Battalion Chief. Eric holds an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Emergency Services Management. In 2002, he served as the Fire and EMS Venue Commander for the Deer Valley Olympic venue in preparation for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Eric and his wife Jen love living in the Park City Area and raising their four Boys in the town they grew up in.
