PCFD Firefighters and medics participated in an annual back country rescue training with PCMR and Canyons Base Patrol July 2023.
They trained in a real-life scenarios using all the resources available to access the patient, treat and transport.
Park City Fire District’s fleet includes Motorcycles and ATVs to help access patients on trails and in difficult areas.
Park City’s trail system entails approximately 400 miles of continuous, non-motorized recreational trails. Summer months present trail access for mountain bikers, hikers and trail runners. Spanning two world-class mountain resorts and an additional 8,000 acres of preserved open space.
