Park City Fire District Engineers have been completing their annual Engineer Competency Testing this week.
The revolutions included: Operating apparatus, pumps, nozzles, hydraulic equipment during multiple scenarios.
Engineer Firefighters are charged with the responsibility of driving the vehicle that transports firefighter and pumps water via the fire pump and hoses at the fire scene. The ensure that the vehicle’s engine is in tip-tip condition, there is sufficient fuel in the gas tank, all the tools and equipment are effectively cleaned and maintained after every major call.
