Motorcycle paramedics are a progressive and beneficial solution to reducing response times and improving patient care. EMS Motos improve response times, and a smaller environmental impact, the biggest advantage of motorcycle paramedics is that they accomplish the number-one goal of any EMS system: improved patient care. The Motorcycle Unit is often credited with performing lifesaving interventions in areas that would be difficult to access by typical field units.
Park City Fire District currently has motorcycles in their fleet for use in back country emergency responses. Our Firefighters and medics train annually on motorcycle safety and rescue scenarios.
