PCFD responded to a possible hazmat spill on Little Kate Road at approximately 2:00pm on September 26, 2022.
The building was quickly evacuated and secured.
PCFD’s Hazmat Team entered and were able to contain the small amount of industrial cleaners that were mixed in a custodial closet basin that released a small amount of a noxious but unknown gas. The facility has been ventilated, cleared, and returned to operation.
A few employees were evaluated for minor respiratory symptoms.
BC3, Hazmat 33, Truck 36, Engine 34, and Engine 31 responded.
